Isolation on an Island – Waiting To Press The Restart Button

Amongst the fear, dread and introspection I draw hope and inspiration from the glorious beauty of spring on our lovely Isle of Wight. See our beautiful countryside, our towns with closed shops and empty streets, lonely yet full of character. All waiting to be filled again with life and energy from locals and visitors. Finding inspiration from our Island’s fresh air, clear seas and rivers. There is renewed appreciation of absent family and friends and the confidence that we will come out of this evil pandemic and be with our loved ones again.

With thanks to our NHS, the carers and key workers for everything they do for us and thoughts and prayers for those who have lost loved ones.
